## TODO Add Better Description.

Its a port of Barkley 2 from GML 1.4.9999 to Godot 4.2.
This project is divided in stages. Right now, we are at stage 0 (Only the title screen). Took me 4 weeks to make this.

Stage 0 served as a proof of concept. Its very easy to say "I'm going to port Barkley 2 to Godot", but actually doing it is a monumental process. On Stage 0, I learned how parts of the game worked, how the original devs made certain things work and how can I port them to Godot. This helped, but its only a start. Certain scripts became autoloads, certain scripts became nodes and others were mashed together inside a simpler script.

To be honest, its was amazing to see what could be done with such a limited game engine. Thousands of scripts, tens of thousands sprites and sfx, for the project ending up scrapped. Thats very sad.

The port is in full swing. We started porting the actual gameplay.
Now, the nightmare begins.
